july 2017 — my journey into translation begins

Since 2017, I’ve been dedicating myself to translation and localization with enthusiasm.

My passion led me to further my studies first at theUniversity of Lecce and later specialize at theUniversity of Pisa, building on a solid academic foundation from English and French into Italian.

In June, I completed a Master’s in Audiovisual Translation at the SSML in Pisa and in September, I attended a specialized course in Video Game Localization at the Summer School in Lecce.

About me

Originally from Taranto — the City of the Two Seas — I now live in Lucca, where I continue to nurture the passions that have been with me since childhood. First and foremost, video games: I’ve always experienced them as worlds to explore and understand, especially when it comes to horror, FPS, RPGs and fantasy, my favorite genres.

Alongside gaming, I’ve developed a deep love for the English language, as well as for drawing / painting, and I never stopped working out, which helps me stay balanced and focused in my work.

I believe every story deserves to be understood in its most natural language. That’s what has always fascinated me: turning words into bridges and making worlds accessible whereas they might otherwise remain out of reach.

I’m a curious, detail-oriented, and deeply empathetic person. I enjoy observing, listening and capturing nuances — in texts as much as in people.

Video games have taught me how to step inside narrative worlds and experience them from within; art has shaped my sense of harmony and attention to detail; sport has instilled discipline. All of this is reflected in the way I work today: immersive, attentive, and structured.
